Informationsmanagement aus Sicht der Betriebswirtschaftslehre
Das Informationsmanagement hat seinen Status als modisches Schlagwort inzwischen überwunden und stellt ein etabliertes Themengebiet mit immer noch steigender Relevanz für Theorie und Praxis der Unternehmungsführung dar. Trotz zahlreicher Veröffentlichungen liegt eine umfassende theoretische Fundierung dieses Problembereichs jedoch bisher nicht vor. Die Arbeit konzipiert das Informationsmanagement als spezielles Untersuchungsfeld der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und leitet aus bestehenden Forschungsansätzen dieser Disziplin Anhaltspunkte für die Gestaltung und Steuerung der betrieblichen Informationsverarbeitung ab. Die entwickelten Theorieansätze werden am konkreten Anwendungsbeispiel Mobile Business zusammengeführt
Climate Impact and Model Approaches of Blue-Green Infrastructure Measures for Neighborhood Planning
Nowadays, most cities deal with the problem of “Urban Heat Islands”. Especially existing city districts cannot easily be adapted. In this paper, the effects of blue-green infrastructure elements (BGI) on air and surface temperature in courtyards are examined, based on on-site measurements and simulations. Recognizable effects on the temperature were observed: BGI lower the number of hot days in the courtyard, including a faster air temperature drop at night, but water elements increase the number of tropical nights due to their heat capacity. Model simulations with PALM-4U proved to be useful to analyze the effects of BGI on the microclimate. Besides analyzing existing structures, the effects of planned measures can be quantified by simulation. However, for this application, needs of improvement were recognized to evaluate the influence of BGI on the microclimate more realistically. For decision support, standard indicators such as the number of tropical nights and hot days are not differentiated enough to quantify specific climate stress of urban residents. It is suggested to consider summer days additionally, percentiles could be used instead of fixed thresholds and the entire course of the year should play a role in the evaluation of the elements and urban design

Spotlights on Contemporary Family Life covers four issues of
cross-cutting importance to families
Structures and forms of families: issues relating to a diversification of families
away from the ‘traditional nuclear family form’ are relatively uncontroversial
from an academic perspective, but much more so for policy makers and family
associations. Chapter 1 provides a thorough overview of the state of contemporary
European families.
Solidarities in families: too often the issue of an ‘ageing society’ is simply
reduced to the problem of over-burdening social care systems, but longevity
also represents opportunities for new kinds of solidarities inside families and
family networks, and new relations between family members – not to mention
the satisfaction felt by people who can continue to live fulfilling and rewarding
lives long after they’re considered ‘elderly’. Chapter 2 gives voice to authors who
identify these new opportunities and challenges.
Demographic change: women are having fewer children and having them
later in life. Having children is now a conscious decision and fertility rates have
declined below the level required to sustain our current populations. At the
same time we witness the ‘greying’ of Europe, which brings with it a whole host
of opportunities and challenges. Chapter 3 raises important issues for policy
makers today.
Volunteering: inspired by family associations who could not survive without
the support of volunteers, this chapter gives an overview of what’s known -
and what isn’t - about volunteering. Coinciding with the European Year of
Volunteering 2011, this chapter takes a timely look at the efforts that families
put into volunteering across Europe and the important benefits that Europe gains
from all of this combined voluntary effort.

Searches at HERA for Squarks in R-Parity Violating Supersymmetry
A search for squarks in R-parity violating supersymmetry is performed in e^+p
collisions at HERA at a centre of mass energy of 300 GeV, using H1 data
corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 37 pb^(-1). The direct production
of single squarks of any generation in positron-quark fusion via a Yukawa
coupling lambda' is considered, taking into account R-parity violating and
conserving decays of the squarks. No significant deviation from the Standard
Model expectation is found. The results are interpreted in terms of constraints
within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), the constrained MSSM
and the minimal Supergravity model, and their sensitivity to the model
parameters is studied in detail. For a Yukawa coupling of electromagnetic
strength, squark masses below 260 GeV are excluded at 95% confidence level in a
large part of the parameter space. For a 100 times smaller coupling strength
masses up to 182 GeV are excluded.Comment: 32 pages, 14 figures, 3 table
Multiplicity Structure of the Hadronic Final State in Diffractive Deep-Inelastic Scattering at HERA
The multiplicity structure of the hadronic system X produced in
deep-inelastic processes at HERA of the type ep -> eXY, where Y is a hadronic
system with mass M_Y< 1.6 GeV and where the squared momentum transfer at the pY
vertex, t, is limited to |t|<1 GeV^2, is studied as a function of the invariant
mass M_X of the system X. Results are presented on multiplicity distributions
and multiplicity moments, rapidity spectra and forward-backward correlations in
the centre-of-mass system of X. The data are compared to results in e+e-
annihilation, fixed-target lepton-nucleon collisions, hadro-produced
diffractive final states and to non-diffractive hadron-hadron collisions. The
comparison suggests a production mechanism of virtual photon dissociation which
involves a mixture of partonic states and a significant gluon content. The data
are well described by a model, based on a QCD-Regge analysis of the diffractive
structure function, which assumes a large hard gluonic component of the
colourless exchange at low Q^2. A model with soft colour interactions is also

Measurements of Transverse Energy Flow in Deep-Inelastic Scattering at HERA
Measurements of transverse energy flow are presented for neutral current
deep-inelastic scattering events produced in positron-proton collisions at
HERA. The kinematic range covers squared momentum transfers Q^2 from 3.2 to
2,200 GeV^2, the Bjorken scaling variable x from 8.10^{-5} to 0.11 and the
hadronic mass W from 66 to 233 GeV. The transverse energy flow is measured in
the hadronic centre of mass frame and is studied as a function of Q^2, x, W and
pseudorapidity. A comparison is made with QCD based models. The behaviour of
the mean transverse energy in the central pseudorapidity region and an interval
corresponding to the photon fragmentation region are analysed as a function of

Forward Jet and Particle Production at HERA
Single particles and jets in deeply inelastic scattering at low x are measured with the H1 detector in the region away from the current jet and towards the proton remnant, known as the forward region. Hadronic final state measurements in this region are expected to be particularly sensitive to QCD evolution effects. Jet cross sections are presented as a function of Bjorken- x for forward jets produced with a polar angle to the proton direction, θ jet , in the range 7° < θ jet < 20°. Azimuthal correlations are studied between the forward jet and the scattered lepton. Charged and neutral single particle production in the forward region are measured as a function of Bjorken- x , in the range 5° < θ < 25°, for particle transverse momenta larger than 1 GeV. QCD based Monte Carlo predictions and analytical calculations based on BFKL, CCFM and DGLAP evolution are compared to the data. Predictions based on the DGLAP approach fail to describe the data, except for those which allow for a resolved photon contribution
Diffractive dijet production at HERA
Interactions of the type ep -> eXY are studied, where the component X of the hadronic final state contains two jets and is well separated in rapidity from a leading baryonic system Y. Analyses are performed of both resolved and direct photoproduction and of deep-inelastic scattering with photon virtualities in the range 7.5 5 GeV relative to the photon direction in the rest frame of X. Models based on a factorisable diffractive exchange with a gluon dominated structure, evolved to a scale set by the transverse momentum p^hat_T of the outgoing partons from the hard interaction, give good descriptions of the data. Exclusive qqbar production, as calculated in perturbative QCD using the squared proton gluon density, represents at most a small fraction of the measured cross section. The compatibility of the data with a breaking of diffractive factorisation due to spectator interactions in resolved photoproduction is investigated
